“We Have a Bevin Problem: a Kentucky music compilation”
Available June 22, 2016 at http://wehaveabevinproblem.bandcamp.com
Musicians in Kentucky responded in song to the attacks on women’s reproductive rights, affordable health care, the LGBTQIA+ community, education, and progress in general in our beloved state through song. This project was organized by a small anonymous group of artists and musicians in the community who believe that collectively, we can make our dissenting voices heard through our art. Many of the songs on the compilation were recorded and mixed free of charge at LaLaLand studios, following a public all-call for submissions.
This 43 track digital-only compilation is available for $10 (with additional donations encouraged) and 100% of funds raised from its purchase will be donated directly to Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky provides many necessary services to people in our region, everything from cancer screenings and birth control to STD testing and safe, LEGAL abortion services.
